TUTORIAL PRINTER SHARING

  Tutorial Printer Sharing

Make sure:

a.    Setting of Printer Sharing is active (Look at setting of File Sharing!)

b.    Two computers are connected

Computer A (installed printer)

1.    Start – Devices and Printers

 

2.    Right click one of printers

3.    Click Printer Properties

4.    Sharing

5.    Check list on Share this printer

6.    Type Share Name, e.g. Shared Abah Printer

7.    Click Apply

8.    OK

Computer B (without printer)

Start - Devices and Printers (We still don’t see an expected printer name)

Let’s practice these steps!

1.    Click Network on Windows Explorer

2.    Click name of Computer A

3.    Double click a printer name

4.    Wait….Printer driver is installing

5.    Start - Devices and Printers

6.    Now, we can see an expected printer name

7.   Ready to start printing.
